It's been awhile

She is the reason why.

Everything certainly does take a little longer with 3, especially since I feel like I'm stopping every 20 minutes because she needs to eat again. Emma is such a good baby and none of us can get enough of her.

Thanks to Chelsea and Josie for the darling pictures.

It makes taking a bite of an apple a little more difficult.

Does anyone know where May went?

Sorry for my lack of posting, let the re-cap begin!

Most importantly, we blessed Emma. Thank you to everyone that came to celebrate with us. Along with the friends that were there, we had both sets of grandparents and the boys were in heaven.

Jamie gave a beautiful blessing about Emma being thoughtful and having faith. He also mentioned her following the example of the strong, righteous woman in her life, namely her mother and her grandmothers. He always does a great job. They are a cute pair.

Our new family. Maybe one day I'll get a picture with everyone looking at the camera and smiling, but I'm not holding my breath.

Seriously, how cute is this baby?

The dress that Grandma B bought and added a little lace to because, "it just needed a little something more".
Thanks Mom.

It was such a nice day.
I feel so blessed to have Emma in my life and to have so many friends and family that are excited about her too.
Following the blessing we were able to spend separate time with each set of grandparents. I know the boys really enjoyed their time with each of them and were sorry when they had to leave.

My parents with the kids.

We spent an afternoon at the Bay Area Children's Museum. It had lots of fun things to explore and play on. Grandpa showing Jacob how to make repairs on the Golden Gate Bridge.

Parker painting on the window, only this time with permission. (Mostly because somebody else cleans it up.)

A very serious Jacob concentrating on his block building.

It was nice of the weather to be warm and not foggy. I would have more pictures, but I'm getting worse about remembering to take them. I bring my camera with me, just forget to use it. Just trust me, it was fun.
While we had Jamie's parents, we went to Happy Hollow in San Jose. It is a cute park for younger kids. It has fun rides, a big playground, and a petting zoo, as well as a puppet theater...what's not to love?

Parker giving his dad a ride.

It's not everyday you get to ride an eagle. Parker loved the carousel, every time the bell would ring indicating that it was about to start, he'd jump and get a big smile because he knew the fun was coming. Pavlov had something there.

A quick lunch break and then off for more fun.

Jamie's mom with Emma.

We wish we could see the grandmas and grandpas all the time, but we certainly appreciate them making the trip to see us.

Trevor and Shadow

My nephew and his wife came to visit ... but they were here on different days. Trevor came up on Sunday night and we had to take him back on Monday night.

In the short 24 hours he played at the beach with Parker,

played Wii with Jacob,

and loved on Emma, lots. He even changed her diaper, twice!

Tuesday morning his darling wife Shadow had a 10 hour layover at SFO.

We did a quick pedicure,

and then just took it easy.

It was the shortest visit ever, by both of them, but we had a great time. They are so good to my kids. It's fun to watch them play and see how much they love them. The feeling is returned!

Come back soon guys!
